On hand to plant a tree Friday April 26, City of Stanley Public Works and the mayor came out to Soo Line Park to plant a tree for Arbor Day. The new tree near the old depot site is an autumn brilliance serviceberry, considered a great multi-season star” and brought about by crossing Amelanchier with grandiflora ‘Autumn Brilliance’.” Shown above for the city are (from left) Greg Steinke, Joe Schmidt, Mayor Mike Henke, and John Hoel.
