Karen Hurd, Representative of the 68th District to the Wisconsin Assembly and service Veteran, spoke to members of the Stanley VFW, American Legion, and the community at the Memorial Day event held at the Veteran’s Memorial in downtown Stanley on May 29th. Due to the sacrifice of fallen Veterans, Hurd proclaimed, “We breathe the free air of the United States of America.”
