Initial appearances Joseph Ray Cobb, 47, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on disorderly conduct and possess amphetamine/LSD/psilocin charges Nov. 30. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. Dec. 30.

Whitney Ann O’Neil, 45, Ellsworth, posted a $10,000 signature bond on five felony theft – business setting > $5,000-$10,000 charges Nov. 29. A preliminary hearing is slated for 1 p.m. Dec. 30.

Daniel Glen Reamer, 40, Maiden Rock, was ordered to pay $500 cash bail on felony possession of methamphetamine, felony bail jumping (two counts) and possess drug paraphernalia charges (all with the repeater modifier) Nov. 24. A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. Dec. 7.

Russell D. Schmieg, 41, Red Wing, Minn., posted a $10,000 signature bond Nov. 29 on felony possession of narcotic drugs, possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A preliminary hearing is set for 11:30 a.m. Jan. 11.

Aaron Alan Wiesender,

39, Ellsworth, posted a $10,000 signature bond Nov. 29 on three felony bail jumping charges. A preliminary hearing is slated for 3 p.m. Feb. 2.

Closed cases Miguel Angel Contento Lapo, 28, River Falls, was convicted of operate without valid license (second within three years) and fined $443 Nov. 30. A second operate without valid license (second within three years) charge was dismissed before an initial appearance. The charges resulted from traffic stop on July 27 and Oct. 20.

A felony neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur/child under 6 or disability) – as party to a crime charge against Molly D. Delander, 25, Spring Valley, was dismissed Nov. 29 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from May 17, 2019 incident.

A felony forgery (repeater) charge against Jonathan Thomas Glass, 38, Red Wing, Minn., was dismissed Nov. 29 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from a June 5, 2019 incident.

A disorderly conduct charge against Alexandra M. Hill, 22, River Falls, was dismissed Nov. 30 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from a March 27, 2020 incident.

A battery charge against Jeff William Holum, 49, Prescott, was dismissed Nov. 24 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from a May 23, 2020 incident.

Esperanza Alejandrina Quezada Erraez, 21, River Falls, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $277.80 Nov. 30. The charge stemmed from a July 2 incident.

A disorderly conduct charge against Kathryn E. Rider, 23, River Falls, was dismissed Nov. 29 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from a Nov. 17, 2018 incident.

Jeffrey Bryan Sympson,

41, Bay City, was convicted of battery (domestic abuse), sentenced to two years’ probation and fined $543 Nov. 29. A disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge was dismissed. His probation was revoked related to an April 21, 2020 disorderly conduct conviction and he was sentenced to 90 days in jail (52 days credit). Court costs were converted to a civil judgment of $443. The charges stemmed from incidents Feb. 27, 2019 and Oct. 7, 2021.

Stephanee Jean Ward, 29, Ellsworth, was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer and possession of narcotic drugs, sentenced to three years’ probation and fined $1,554 Nov. 29. Two possess drug paraphernalia, two felony bail jumping, operating while revoked (alcohol related), failure of operator to notify police of accident, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating while revoked (forfeiture) and failure to keep vehicle under control charges/forfeitures were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents June 19, July 21 and July 25.
