May 23 8:04 a.m.

An officer was requested to respond to 160th St. E. west of Hogan Ave. to assist with a MN State accident report involving a Dakota County Sheriff’s Office vehicle. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

12:16 p.m.

Officers were called to the 1200 block of S. Frontage Rd. for a property damage report.

12:54 p.m.

Officers responded to the 300 block of Cari Park Ln. for a welfare check.

5:36 p.m.

Officers responded to a theft incident in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. Tyler Fischbach, 18 of Hastings was issued a citation for theft.

6:33 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Commerce Court regarding vandalism. The case is under investigation.

9:54 p.m.

Officers responded to the 900 block of 31st St. for a harassment call. Officers investigated the situation and mediated.

10:45 p.m.

Officers responded to the 400 block of Tiffany Dr. for a disturbance. Officers investigated the situation and mediated.

May 24 10:31 a.m.

Officers investigated a pastaction theft from the 200 block of Sibley St. An unknown person stole about $40 in property.

6:19 p.m.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Sibley St. for a trespass call. The incident is under investigation.

6:27 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. for a report of a female slumped over in her vehicle. The matter is under investigation.

8:59 p.m.

A report of suspicious circumstances in the 1200 block of Vermillion St. The report is under investigation.

9:28 p.m.

An officer was dispatched to the intersection of County Road 47 and Pine St. regarding a vehicle vs. deer accident with property damage.

11:31 p.m.

Officers attempted to assist the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office with a possible stolen bike that fled from them into Minnesota on Hwy. 10. Officers located the bike on Hwy. 61 north of the Hastings bridge, and the bike’s rider fled from them.

May 25 11:24 a.m.

Officers received an after the fact theft report in the 2200 block of Vermillion St. There were no suspects at the time.

2:21 p.m.

A suspicious act report was taken in the 1700 block of Market Blvd.

3:14 p.m.

Officers received a report of suspicious circumstances in the 1000 block of 11th St. W. The incident is under investigation.

7:01 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of Ashland St. for a warrant check. After investigation, James A. Tucker, 68 of Hastings was arrested for three felony Dakota County warrants.

May 26 12:09 a.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop near the 900 block of Vermillion St. After investigation the driver, Taneishia R. Block, 33 of Keister was issued a citation for driving after revocation and failure to display current motor vehicle registration.

1:48 a.m.

An officer documented a noncompliant predatory offender.

7:14 a.m.

An officer took a theft report from the 1100 block of County Road 47.

9:21 a.m.

A school bus stop arm violation report was taken near the intersection of General Sieben Dr. and Fallbrooke Dr. Kimberly A. Cooper, 62 of Hastings was cited for that offense.

10:44 a.m.

A passerby turned in a license plate found in the 600 block of Vermillion St.

12:04 p.m.

Officers assisted with a warrant in the 200 block of Sibley St.

8:46 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to a suspicious call near the 1700 block of Ramsey St. After investigation the driver, Tara L. Brower, 38 of Hastings was arrested for felony 5th Degree Drug Possession.

May 27 1:27 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. The driver, Walter J. Warneke, 43 of St. Paul was found to be impaired and arrested for DWI.

1:54 a.m.

Officers located a loose dog in the area of 19th St. and Vermillion St. The dog was transported to the humane society.

11:53 a.m.

Officers took a pastaction suspicion call that occurred in the 800 block of 2nd St. E. The case is under investigation.

2:27 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of Villa Ct. for a report of attempted fraud.

3:05 p.m.

Police responded to a pastaction motor vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of General Sieben Dr. and Hwy. 55. The incident is under investigation.

3:16 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to a pastaction hitandrun traffic accident. The case is under investigation.

4:31 p.m.

Officers responded to the 800 block of 18th St. for a welfare check.

5:37 p.m.

A pastaction damage report was taken in the 500 block of 7th St. E. The case is under investigation.

8:34 p.m.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Vermillion St. for a hitandrun traffic accident.

9:10 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Hwy. 55 and Ashland St. The driver, Mark C. Borst, 46 of South St. Paul was arrested for warrants out of Hennepin, Ramsey, and McCleod Counties.

May 28 9:41 a.m.

Officers responded to the 100 block of 3rd St. E. on a damage to property report.

10:10 p.m.

A traffic stop was initiated on a motorcycle in the area of Spiral Blvd. near Glendale Rd. The motorcycle fled from officers. Officers did not pursue the motorcycle. There are no suspects in the case. The case is inactive.

May 29 12:52 a.m.

An officer initiated a traffic stop on a bicycle in the area of 4th St. E. near Sibley St. During the course of the investigation, the officer learned the individual had three Dakota County warrants. Alicia Bowers of Hastings was taken into custody for the warrants.

1:08 a.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 17th St. and Vermillion St. After investigation, Juan D. Armadariz, 24 of Jalisco, Mexico was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

1:21 a.m.

Officers and fire department medics responded to a business in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. for a welfare check.

2:32 p.m.

Officers responded to the intersection of 10th St. and Vermillion St. after receiving a call that the reporting party was riding his scooter across the street when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.

3:04 p.m.

A lost property report was taken in the 900 block of 31st St. W.

11:00 p.m.

Officers located a vehicle at the 400 block of Lock and Dam Rd. for an ordinance violation. After investigation, Joshua D. Courneya, 18 of Hastings was cited for possession of over 1.4 grams of marijuana.

Police responded to a pastaction motor vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of General Sieben Dr. and Hwy. 55. The incident is under investigation.

3:17 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of River St. for a pastaction hitandrun traffic accident. The case is under investigation.

8:36 p.m.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Vermillion St. for a hitandrun traffic accident.

May 29 12:07 p.m.

Officers responded to the 3000 block of Cannon St. for an accident involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported. A citation was issued to Anna C. VanHatten of Hastings for failing to report a property damage accident.

May 30 12:36 p.m.

An officer responded to the 800 block of 12th St. W. for an accident involving two vehicles. No citations were issued, and no injuries were reported.

May 31 9:04 a.m.

Officers were notified of a hitandrun accident which occurred on private property in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. Officers are investigating.

June 1 10:10 a.m.

An officer was dispatched to a twovehicle crash at the intersection of Pleasant Dr. and 15th St. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

10:19 a.m.

A report was taken of a pastaction hitandrun accident that occurred at an undetermined location in Hastings.
