July 12 10:25 a.m. Landlord/tenant dispute. The tenant was advised that this was a civil issue and she would need to seek legal advice/representation.

1:55 p.m. A young woman was reported by her parents to be out of control. Upon arrival the parents and brother stated that she was throwing things and creating a disturbance. After speaking to everyone, there were no reported injuries or damage to property. The young woman reportedly has underlying mental health issues and outbursts from time to time but was calm. She was advised to separate herself to her bedroom and write down her thoughts in order to cope without causing a disturbance. 7:12 p.m.

Traffic stop conducted for a moving violation. The driver was warned. 8:58 p.m.

Police responded to the 300 block of Fourth Avenue for a check person complaint. Aaron Frederick, age 36, was arrested on a probation violation.

July 13 9:05 a.m.

Stanley Police received information of illegal dumping in the Lotz Park dumpster. Contact was made with involved parties who were advised that any future dumping would result in citations.

1:00 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for a vehicle lockout. The vehicle was opened.

5:17 p.m. Stanley Police received a complaint of a person trying to enter a garage. Officer responded and was advised that there was no one trying to enter the garage, but there was concern this may happen. Incident under investigation, report to follow. July 14 10:17 a.m. Stanley Police were requested for an erratic driver on State Highway 29. Vehicle was not located.

1:21 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to the south side for a harassment complaint. Incident under investigation.

3:26 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for an out of control young person. Report to follow.

8:22 p.m. Police were requested in the 900 block of Emery Street for report of a dog running at large. 8:45 p.m. Police were requested for a harassment complaint in the Village of Boyd. July 15 12:14 a.m. Stanley Police were requested to assist the Clark County Sheriff’s Office with a vehicle pursuit.

6:26 a.m. Water was reported over the roadway. Officer stood by until street department provided some barricades to divert traffic.

1:26 p.m. A caller reported concerns related to their elderly neighbor. Information still being gathered. 3:59 p.m.

A white colored carrying case for cosmetic items located on the boulevard. Case was opened and nothing located inside. It was brought back to the police department and placed in evidence for the time being. Nothing further.

4:37 p.m. Summons paperwork served. 6:01 p.m. Suspected theft in progress. Upon officer arrival it was determined that two people were checking out a vehicle that was for sale. All persons were identified and the owner of the vehicle was present. Nothing further.

6:50 p.m. Traffic stop conducted for equipment violation. The driver was warned. 7:03 p.m.

Police responded to a theft complaint at Hansen’s IGA. Tyler M. Vinton, age 28, was located and arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor theft and felony bail jumping.

9:35 p.m. Traffic stop conducted for an equipment violation. The driver was warned.

10:14 p.m. Police responded to a noise complaint from the Grant Street Apartments. Contact was made with the unit producing loud noises and they advised they were sorry and would be done for the evening.

10:36 p.m. Traffic stop conducted for an equipment violation. Nicholas Rentana, age 24, was cited for inadequate exhaust.

11:32 p.m. Traffic stop conducted for an equipment violation. The driver was warned.

July 16 12:16 a.m. Traffic stop conducted for a moving violation. Sharon Ehrike, age 79, arrested for operate motor vehicle while intoxicated (1st).

2:29 a.m. Traffic stop conducted for a moving violation. Serena Hickey, age 22, was cited for non-registration of auto and no proof of insurance.

1:12 p.m.

Stanley Police conducted a traffic stop for the registered owner’s driving status being suspended. Driver was not the registered owner. No enforcement action taken.

2:18 p.m. Stanley Police responded to an animal at large complaint in the 900 block of North Emery Street. Caller advised that they had custody of the dog and were unsure of where it came from. The dog was later reunited with its owner at the police department.

2:53 p.m. Stanley Police requested at America Inn and Suites for a harassment dispute between staff and tenants/previous employees who were being evicted. Report to follow.

3:47 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for criminal damage to a residence from the previous tenant. Photos taken for documentation.

8:59 p.m. Traffic stop conducted for a moving violation. Jordan Dotson, age 22, was cited for non-registration of auto and operate motor vehicle without insurance. He was also warned for his speed.

9:36 p.m. Traffic stop conducted for an equipment violation. Driver was able to resolve without issue.

10:52 p.m. Traffic stop conducted for a moving violation. Roger Lederer, age 39, was cited for operate without valid license (license expired).

11:26 p.m. Traffic stop conducted for a moving violation. Tara Cuypers, age 49, was cited for non-registration of auto. July 17 12:05 a.m. Traffic stop conducted for a moving violation. Johnathan Bogart, age 23, was cited for operating after suspension of registration. 12:34 a.m.

Traffic stop conducted for a moving violation. McKenna Thompson, age 22, was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st).

8:46 a.m. Stanley Police received a fraud complaint. Report to follow.

10:08 a.m. Stanley Police were requested to the Stanley Travel Stop for a gas drive off. License plate provided by staff but didn’t match vehicle at the gas pump.

12:48 p.m. Stanley Police conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation. Driver verbally warned. No report.
