This week’s spotlight shines on Dylan Seichter, a dedicated and hardworking Stanley-Boyd wrestler who has been making waves on the mat. As a wrestler with seven years of experience, Seichter’s commitment to growth and improvement is evident both in his training and his performance.
Head Coach Jake Fitzsimmons praised Seichter's continuous development, saying, “Dylan continues to work hard and get better each week. We talk about growth and fixing our mistakes so that we are wrestling our best matches at the end of the year and Dylan is doing that. I am excited to see what he can do at Conference and the WIAA State series.”
Seichter’s drive and hard work is paying off. On January 11th Dylan took 2nd place in the 24 team 2025 Blue Jay Challenge in Merrill while pinning a state qualifier from last season.
When reflecting on his wrestling journey, Seichter emphasized the value of camaraderie within the team.
“The most enjoyable thing is the bus ride back from tournaments after the whole team did a good job,” Seichter shared.
He explained that wrestling has pushed him to challenge himself and go the extra mile. “Wrestling taught me how to step out of my comfort zone and push myself harder to complete my goals,” he said. With his dedication and work ethic, there’s no doubt that Dylan will make an impact at every level. Dylan Seichter is undoubtedly a wrestler to watch this season!
