Miss Stanley Caroline Johnson and her court, Jr Miss Khloe Moore, Jr Princess Lillianna Gumz, and Little Miss Israella Witt were special guests for story time at the D.R. Moon Memorial Library on August 15th where the littlest friends of the library were invited to attend dressed in their royal best. The Stanley Royalty Court made royal wands and colored pictures with attendees before reading ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Snowbelle and the Ice Games.’ No royal gathering would be complete without a splendid feast, and this event was no exception as the little princes and princesses were treated to yummy cupcakes and juice after playing Pin the Kiss on the Frog. The event was a shining example of how literature and imagination can come together to create unforgettable experiences for young readers. The D.R. Moon Memorial Library looks forward to hosting more events that inspire continuing to serve as a beacon of learning and creativity in the community.
