A Badgerlink Look Back at May 27, 1971
“This was the week that was” at The Stanley Republican, who moved to their new location in the former Andy’s Cleaners building on First Avenue. Pictured above is Joe Fazendin, owner of the paper, and Andy Anderson taking one of the linotypes from the old location to the r.ew one on the United Builders fork lift truck. On Monday morning, the main pieces of equipment were in operation in the new building and although things were rather hectic, everything was proceeding normally._______________________ Weekly Look made possible through digitization.
