Trump, Biden win more delegates, primary rivals win votes

Donald Trump will face Joe Biden for the presidency this fall—that was already clear from primary delegate totals before the April 2 Presidential primary. Following is how each fared against their in party rivals April 2.
Starting with Joe Biden, he received 135 votes in Stanley wards 1 to 6, challenger Dean Phillips receiving 6 and Uninstructed Delegation receiving six, with one write-in. Stanley Ward 7 (Clark County) shows three votes for Biden, with none for Phillips or Uninstructed Delegate. No votes were cast in Stanley Ward 8, on either side.
Across the country, “Uninstructed Delegation” has been seen as a protest vote by those unhappy with certain Biden administration policies, including the Israel-Palestine conflict.
At Boyd, meanwhile, the presumptive Democratic nominee received 48 votes, with two for Phillips and one for Uninstructed Delegation. Out in the townships Biden received 55 votes at Colburn to three for Phillips and two for Uninstructed Delegation, while Delmar registered 68 votes for Biden to two for Phillips, two for Uninstructed Delegation, and one write-in. Edson saw Biden get 57 votes, the remaining 10 going to Phillips.
In Clark County returns for the Democratic Party primary, City of Thorp results 109 votes were recorded for Biden, compared with four for Phillips and six for Uninstructed Delegate. The Town of Thorp, totals show 40 votes for Biden to two for Phillips and one for Uninstructed Delegation. Worden showed 33 votes for Biden, three for Phillips, and one for Uninstructed Delegation.
Shifting to the Republican Party primary returns, Donald Trump received 280 votes in Stanley Wards 1 to 6, compared with five for Christie, one for Ramaswamy, six for DeSantis, 24 for Haley, three for Uninstructed Delegation and two write-ins. Trump received five votes in Stanley Ward 7, with none for his ballot rivals.
As to Boyd, Chippewa County returns show Trump with 93 votes, compared with 13 for Haley, seven for DeSantis, one for Ramaswamy, and three for Christie.
In township returns, Colburn saw Trump get 185 votes, with 10 for Haley, two for DeSantis, two for Christie, and one for Ramaswamy. Delmar saw Trump receive 189 votes,, with 25 for Haley, 12 for DeSantis, four for Christie, and one for Ramaswamy. Edson aw Trump receive 165 votes, with 21 for Haley, three for DeSantis, one for Christie, and zero for Ramaswamy.
In Clark County returns for the Republican primary, City of Thorp results show 195 votes for Trump, compared with 21 for Haley, seven for DeSantis, three for Christie, and one for Ramaswamy. The town of Thorp registered 127 votes for Trump, eight for DeSantis, six for Haley, and three for Christie.
Worden registered 99 votes for Trump, nine for Haley, three for DeSantis, two for Christie, and one for Ramaswamy.
The presidential contest now moves to formal party nominations this summer, based on primary delegate totals.
