The pamphlet mailed to every box holder helped “visualize” the proposal. Using that I’m wondering:

  1. The current gym would be used as a multi-use area? Would the seating change then?
  1. The area between the new district office and new gym: the new cafeteria or something else?
  1. The new gym being larger; would it have an increased capacity for seating?

  1. In our project cost estimates, we’ve explored the idea of replacing a section of our current bleachers with mobile stadium seating to enhance flexibility. This seating could be relocated during performances to create a theater-like atmosphere. Similar seating arrangements have proven effective in other school districts. However, the final decision on seating upgrades will be determined by the design team and bid process. We invite community members to participate in the design team discussions.
  1. The area between the proposed district office and the gymnasium will serve as a commons area. It will accommodate high school meals and provide collaborative spaces. Currently, classrooms utilize existing foyers and the cafeteria for instructional and organizational activities. This new space will cater to those needs as well as host community groups and pool parties.
  1. Plans include expanding seating capacity in the new gym, with the specifics to be determined by the design team and bid process. Given the fluctuations in construction costs, precise details of the project will be finalized after the bidding process is complete.
