Pictured above are Carter and Harper Roshell, who were out with their grandpa Tim, donating coins at Northwestern Bank in Boyd. Tuesday, August 9 was “Change For Kids” day at Northwestern Bank. Northwestern Bank partners with Hope Gospel Mission to raise money by collecting coins from generous customers at the Boyd, River Prairie and Chippewa Falls locations. The monies are then donated to Hope Renewal Centers which give women and children in crisis a place to go. Kids who brought in coins to one of the locations were awarded a certificate for a free dish of ice cream or an ice cream cone from Olson’s Ice Cream in Chippewa or Eau Claire. This year Northwestern Bank and their customers raised $2385 for this great cause, and Northwestern Bank donated an additional $5000. Altogether Hope Gospel raised $14,000. Submitted photo.
