Country Terrace has a new facility director. The 16 bed assisted living facility at 804 Pine Street in Stanley recently named Brittany Reinhart to the post.
Originally from Northern Wisconsin but now in central Wisconsin for 13 years, Reinhart graduated from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in 2010 with an associate of applied science in business management and is a state certified nursing assistant. She is currently in the process of finishing a Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration to be followed with a Master’s and has 15 total years of experience in healthcare settings, both hospital and long term care facilities.
“I enjoy long term care facilities because you truly get to know your residents and their families, and they become second families,” she says.
As for life outside work Reinhart has two children, two dogs, and two cats. “I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and learning new things!” she says.
Reinhart shared more on her plans as director at Country Terrace.
“First and foremost I must answer the question that I have been getting asked a lot - if I am here to stay and the answer is YES, I am here to stay! It is a lot of interruption to not only the residents but the staff to have directors (and staff) changing frequently. I want to become a foundation for these residents, staff, and community here at Country Terrace, but in order to do so I must commit to each of these individuals.”
Touching next on her plans as director at Country Terrace, Reinhart said in part that she wanted to get the residents at Country Terrace more involved in community wide events.
“Some plans that I have as the new director for this facility and the community is to become a true asset in this community and get our residents more involved in community wide events. For instance, in August we will be hosting a car show at our facility because it is something that the residents have shown interest in.
“I also plan on taking the residents on monthly ‘field trips.’ We will be taking our first to the Eau Claire area where we will visit the zoo and have a picnic in July. We want to make it a monthly event for those of our residents who are able to go to local fish fry meals. We will also be taking a couple fall rides as well to see the beautiful changing colors of the leaves in our area.”
Reinhart closed out by saying she looks forward to serving members of the community and Chippewa County.
“I look forward to serving the members of the community and all of Chippewa County and surrounding areas,” she said. “Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to assist you, whether it is a career opportunity, volunteering in our building, or looking for a home for yourself or loved one please do not hesitate to reach out!” Country Terrace welcomes residents 65 and older, both those in need of extra assistance and unable to support themselves as well as those just seeking companionship in old age.
As for upcoming Country Terrace events, area residents are invited to the first annual car show at Country Terrace on August 23.
“Please join us for our first annual car show on August 23, 2025 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.! If you are interested in entering a car, volunteering, or donating meats for our cookout please reach out,” Reinhart says.
