EMS call received regarding an 87-year-old man who had fallen in his bedroom in the 6900 block of 189th Street. He did not have injuries, but needed help getting up.

911 investigate call from a caller saying they were just making sure their old phone worked, but sounded rushed.
6:06 p.m.
Anoka request assistance with a domestic kidnapping situation. Most likely driving a silver or teal Caravan with Minnesota plates. May be holding a woman on Highway 27 at Highway 29 East. January 7 3:32 a.m.
Shawnia A. Taylor, age 19, taken into custody by Rusk County on a Chippewa County warrant. 7:00 a.m.
A vehicle pulling a trailer lost the wood it was hauling into the roadway in the curve on County Trunk F at 220th Avenue. 7:28 a.m.
Kaitlyn S. Eberhardt, age 20, in custody on a warrant arrest.
11:05 a.m.
Vehicle reported to have bullet hole in hood that went into the radiator in the 15900 block of 135th Avenue. Caller had borrowed it to a relative.
2:54 p.m.
White Ram truck reported to have sped through school zones and almost hit the caller in the 16500 block of 50th Avenue. Last see on X headed towards Cadott, plate shared with law enforcement.
11:55 p.m.
Motor vehicle vs. deer accident with no personal injuries in the 18700 block of County Trunk O. Deer ran off while the motor vehicle was disabled. Car owner requested Corner Auto.
January 8 2:08 a.m.
Motor vehicle crashed into bridge near pine drive resort on 250th Street. Hook and Go towing advised of situation.
7:27 a.m.
Caller reported striking a deer in the 25900 block of Highway 27. The caller said he was going to meet a deputy at a gas station in Holcombe and was taking the deer.
7:55 a.m.
Warrant arrest by Eau Claire. No further details.

An elderly woman in the 1800 block of Jackson Street called complaining of stomach pain and in need of EMS assistance.

A passerby reported a ladder in the roadway at mile marker 82 of Highway 29 westbound.

Restraining order violation reported as having occurred over email.

A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend was making threats toward her.

A woman reported that her boyfriend was suicidal and told her mom the man was also holding her against her will.

A woman called to have her husband removed from the residence as he was extremely intoxicated and talking about things that had not occurred.

A man reported that a neighbor’s semi had been parked on the caller’s property from the 11100 block of County Trunk X. 2:54 p.m.
Report of an injured deer near the mailbox on the right side of the road in the 26500 230th Avenue. Nuisance animal as listed call type.
2:58 p.m.
EMS ambulance request for patient with side pain from the 100 block of East Second Avenue.
5:50 p.m.
A fifty-year-old woman with a foot injury from two weeks ago and having trouble walking reported from West Cedar Street.
6:52 p.m.
Caller reported hitting a deer on County Trunk DD at Highway 40.

Simon M. Rose, age 24, taken into custody by the Eau Claire Police Department on a Chippewa County warrant for Failure To Appear Operate without a Valid License, bond of $1,000 and court date set.

A caller from North Kelly Street reported that she was being framed for crimes. Items in the residence she did not buy.
7:30 p.m.
Caller reported a possible poaching issue near his residence in the 26500 block of County Trunk S. He had scared off two vehicles on the roadway with ropes trying to get a bear out of the woods.
7:48 p.m.
Chad E. Henneman, age 43, taken into custody by Sawyer County on two Chippewa County warrants for Failure To Appear Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession amphetamine, LSD, Psilocin.
8:37 p.m.
A caller reported a car vs. deer accident from mile marker 93 of Highway 29 eastbound. The deer was still alive on the edge of the roadway.
8:43 p.m.
EMS requested for a man in his mid-sixties not feeling well nor acting normal and with low oxygen levels. Located in the 200 block of East 4th Avenue.

A caller requested a welfare check on her brother who had not been heard from by the family in several days and was wheelchair bound, in the 200 block of South Main Street.

A man in his late fifties was reported to have right hip pain and unable to move from the 29300 block of 290th Street.

Personal welfare check requested for a woman standing near a guard rail south of TT bridge. Caller stated the woman “wasn’t making any sense” when asked if needing help.
