The city of Stanley is taking a landlord to court over property issues. Kerry Brown, of Chippewa Falls, rents 113 Barber Street out.
In the past Stanley Police have taken pictures of the property issues and told the tenant to clean up, while Brown said in July that he would have the tenant formally evicted, but no filings being made. Police have also issued several prior citations to Brown for Stanley Ordinance 11.6.10, Chronic Nuisance Premises, but without effect. The citations each carry a fine approximating $1,000, to be paid by Brown along with clean up and legal fees.
Weld Riley is representing the firm in the lawsuit.
