Once again letting everyone know that we will be pulling one night earlier on Friday June 7th at 7:00 p.m.
That is because Ellsworth is the following night on Saturday June 8th.
We will now be the first hook for the WTPA pullers in this area for the pulling season, with Ellsworth being the second hook. We will not have both pulls on Saturday night conflicting with each other as it was before.
Hopefully all the WTPA pullers will have their machines all together and ready to come to our small town to show us what they got under the hood! Our classes are as follows:
1) Superstock 4x4 Truck
2) Modified 4x4 Truck
3) 2.6 Diesel 4x4 Truck
4) Light Limited Superstock Tractors
5) Light Superstock Tractor
6) Light Pro stock Tractor
The running order will be set that night by the NTPA officials and Track Patrol The Eliminator.
There has to be some modifications to the staging area and the pulling area on the track to meet specs for the WTPA and NTPA.
Thank you to both Stanley and Boyd Fire Departments, Boyd-Edson-Delmar Ambulance and Stanley Police Departments for being on site that night.
Also, a big thank you to all the dedicated members of the STPR Inc. that help put on this event. So many of them do a double duty of also putting on the Rodeo the next weekend.
They are a great group of people!
