The Department of Workforce Development’s Mobile Career Lab will be available at the D.R. Moon Memorial Library on Tuesday, June 25th from 2 PM to 5 PM. The services provided by the career lab will include one on one assistance with searching for jobs, online job applications, resumes, career options, and much more. Not only does the Career Lab help individuals obtains workforce resources and services, but it also helps businesses that may have a hiring or training need and provides workshops to assist attendees with work search skills. The purpose of the mobile career lab is “to help even the most remote communities receive training and job search.”
Library Director Elizabeth Miniatt explains that the Library is eager to assist in providing career seeking services to the community. “Providing what people need to complete their job search is a key aspect of the library’s services. We’re so excited to host this resource for our community and expect that the Mobile Career Lab will help many people find, apply for, and secure the job they need.”
Starting on June 25th, the Mobile Career Lab can be found at the D.R. Moon Memorial Library on the last Tuesday of every month through November. No registration is required so feel free to drop in at your convenience.
