Don’t like to shovel snow off the sidewalk? Gilman Wisconsin will do it for its residents—with a charge of $75 per hour and one hour minimum. Sanding and salting parking lots, meanwhile, is set for $75 per call/lot. The official fee schedule is in for those renting accommodations and/or services in the village of Gilman, Wisconsin for the upcoming calendar year, and the prices are as follows. For those seeking to rent a beer or food stand, the charge is set at $35 per day. The charge for renting an exhibit building or pavilion in Gilman for 2021 is also $35 per day. If you want a Cooler, it’ll cost you $15 per day with $25 for the initial “Turn On” fee. If you want to use a grill or deep fryer the charge is $25 on the first day and $10 for each subsequent day. For light usage, the rate is $25 for the first hour, with $10 per hour thereafter, while special event lightusageisbilledaccordingtothekilowatthour. Those wishing to use the park should plan a $50 deposit for one day and $100 for two to three days of use. A campground site is set to cost $10 per night for non-electrical and $15 per night for sites equipped with electrical services. There is also a $10 key deposit. As for the Tax Incremental Finance (TIF) area of Gilman, the added bill cost is $100 per acre. The library tax exemption is provided for according to Resolution 9906, thereby not being subject to library tax collection as per the Wisconsin state statutes, the Western Taylor County Public Library providing local residents with this essential book service. When it comes to per hour employee labor charges in Gilman, “police” is set at $40.87, the “public works director” is set at $34.27, and the “public works employee” is set at $27.23. Water and sewer services are charged at “actual cost” for both extensions and laterals, while copies from the village office are 25 cents a copy with 50 cents for a color copy. Faxing is $1 for the first five pages and $2 for more than five pages. Licenses for the sale or serving of fermented beverages are $175 for a Class A Inby toxicating Liquor license, $100 for a Class A Fermented Malt beverage license, $250 for a Class B Intoxicating Liquor license, and $100 for a Class B Fermented Malt beverage license. Per the fee schedule document, “when a new Liquor license is issued during the licensing period, the fee will be prorated in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes 125 (and) no license fee refunds will be made when a license is surrendered.” For other licenses and fees there will be a $15 charge for the privilege of selling cigarettes, $10 for an Operator’s (alcohol sales employee) license, and $15 for a “Direct Seller” license.

In building requirements, the cost of a residential building permit is minimum $30, with $2 per $10,000 of improvements, and a $75 minimum for Commercial and Industrial building permits, with $5 per $10,000 of building improvements. The price of a conditional use permit is $100, while the cost of publishing liquor licenses is $10. For “picnic” licenses or a gathering permit, the cost is also $10, as is that for fireworks. Sign permits in Gilman are $25, Excavation permits and mobile home licenses per park are both $100, and a well permit application fee is set to cost $25 for the 2021 fiscal year. Police at school events is rated for $100 per event, while tractor and truck lawn mower use is $75 per hour per vehicle, with a minimum charge of $75.

At the same time, board packet charges are set to increase by 50 cents next year to $7.50 per packet for those things requested by media or public.An official certified public record is $5 for the first page and $2.50 for each page thereafter. Closing in on the end, the application fee for “zoning,” “street/alley,” or a variance are $100 each, while a $25 charge will be levied for checks returned due to insufficient funds along with paper service by the police chief. As for mileage rates, they’re listed as “Per the IRS mileage rates,” which just goes to show that the otherwise onerous Sixteenth Amendment to the U. S. Constitution from 1913 had some advantages.
