A two vehicle crash on Highway H Saturday, July 5 claimed the life of 19 year old Ayden Nicpon of Thorp. With the crash still under investigation as of Friday, the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office put out a brief statement on what was known at the time:
“On Saturday, July 5th 2025, at about 2:03 PM, the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two vehicle crash with both vehicles overturned, multiple subjects trapped in each vehicle, and one vehicle on fire in the Town of Delmar on CTH H near 110th Ave. Both occupants in one of the vehicles were trapped and one of them, Ayden Nicpon age 19 from Thorp, was determined to be deceased at the scene. The crash and other details are being reviewed by our Office.”
