The week before Christmas our residents are very busy. First the FFA from Stanley/ Boyd school came and decorated cookies, our residents were amazed that the 35 FFA members came to visit, most were farmers themselves so they liked seeing our future farmers. Thank you for taking the time to spend with our residents they love to decorating cookies and eating them of course.
We had the JAG program from Stanley/ Boyd school came and made Christmas ornaments with our residents they made snow globe ornaments they turned out so nice and snow flake sun catchers are beautiful, it was a great time to visit, I think the kids and residents enjoyed themselves equally it was nice to see them sharing in stories while crafting. Thanks to all the JAG program students for reaching out to us over the holiday and wanting to spend time with our residents, you made their holiday very special to them, we had a great time!
Our residents and staff at the Homeplace would like to wish our community, friends and family Merry Christmas and enjoy the time spent with friends and family bringing in the New Year! Be Safe.
