Feathers were flying as we were crafting our turkeys of many colors we traced our hand, cut the hand shapes out added an eye ball a beak and a gobbler the residents chose the colors for their bird everyone had their own idea of what color their turkey would be, we glued our feathers on our bird, Barb did a brown feathered bird the more natural colors, Daniel did purple and green he thought after it should have been green and gold, Sharon , Bernice, June, Esther, Joann and Lucille’s were multi colored everyone had a different idea and that’s what makes it fun doing our activities there is never a dull moment, our residents love their turkeys!

After a couple weeks off of bingo with our residents, I owed them their winnings I paid them with candy of course, if you ever want to brighten their day bring them candy and see the big smile you put on their face, it’s that simple!

We always have a great turn out for church, this week the father spoke that our focus should be on our quality of life not the quantity of our life we never know how long we have on this earth so always strive for a good quality of life, love one another, be kind to one another and our quality of life will be get better!
