We had three furry visitors this week Kia, Mona and Stanley came in, they enjoy visiting as much as the residents enjoy seeing them. The dogs are very comfortable around our residents, Stanley would sit on anyone’s lap or lay in your recliner with you all day long and love every minute Mona is a German Shepard and she likes to check everything out she’s kind of nosey most Shepards are. Kia gets her lovin's from everybody then finds a comfy spot to lay and nap, she’s almost 11 so you can’t blame her. Some of our residents want to keep Stanley, those that had dogs liked talking about what kind of dogs they had and the mischief they got into with the smiles and laughter the dogs really brighten their day, it’s a pleasure bringing them in.
We are welcoming two new residents this week Bob and Daniel. Bob once lived here and now is back to be part of our Homeplace family. Daniel has moved here from Medford to be a part of our growing family, Daniel has made it to the dining area to get to know the other RCAC residents they visited over coffee the ladies are always interested in where you are from, what you did for a living and who you know which a lot of times they know the same people. Daniel also joined us for bingo he didn’t win but he had fun and got to know more of our residents. Welcome Bob and Daniel!
