A very successful 9-PIN Tap was held over the weekend of March 19, 20, and 21 at the Stanley bar and bowl. This was the 21st annual event held to raise funds to support scholarships for graduating Stanley-Boyd seniors as well as American Legion Baseball. There were a total of 92 bowlers this year. The following bowlers rolled a 300 game: Charlie Gully, Randy Seichter, Kyle Hera and Tom Fredrickson bowled two 300 games. Raffles were held for special prizes and the winners were: Eugene Haas won a Storm Phase II bowling ball, Tony Oberweis won a Storm Electrify bowling ball, Julie Saumier won a fishing pole and Ryan Christoph won a Citizen watch and bracelet set. The top five bowlers were: Shane McQuillan with a total score of 885, Rickey Mason with a total of 877, Suzanne Mutkey with 876, Rolly Seichter with 863 and Gary Oemig who had a total of 837.
