Reader remembers old Dodge School
Dear Editor:
I am writing regarding the old Dodge School that was demolished in 1987. I went there from 1969 – 1970. My teacher was Mrs. Joyce Samuelson. She taught special ed.
You could just say that she taught me all the things like reading and writing. The late Dick Davis was principal then. He too passed on two years ago.
Before I went there my parents both went there. Back then it was known as the Stanley High School. Mr. C. W. Dodge served as both an educator-teacher and superintendent. Furthermore, he also served as school superintendent at Mondovi before he came to Stanley in the early 20s. He retired about the early 50s?
