Starting Wednesday, Oct. 1 and continuing through Oct. 31, the downtown of Stanley will have a Storywalk route. The Storywalk book this year is Hampire! By Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen, with illustrations by Howard Fine.
Complete with 12 stops, the route begins on Third Avenue and Broadway at Ele’s Flowers and continues down to first Avenue, where it crosses Broadway and starts heading north.
Included in the Storywalk Route are Ele’s Flowers, Design Tile, Stanley Area Dance, Citizen’s State Bank, Marine Credit Union, Harris Chiropractic, Hazuga’s True Value, White Barn Realty, Bob’s Barber Shop, Visions Salon, Cody’s Classic Cars, and Modern Beauty.

Monday 8-12
Tuesday 10-2
Wednesday 12-6
Thursday 10-2
Walkers can stop in during library hours after completing the story walk for a small treat.
