Name: Matthew Peterson Age: 40 Occupation: I Dairy Farm in the Towns of Delmar and

Position sought? Chippewa County District 10 Board seat
Are you from the eastern Chippewa County original – ly? What about family? Just what drives you to seek the role of Chippewa County Supervisor this election cy –
cle? I grew up on our farm in Delmar. Where I farm with my Parents, wife Julie and our 3 sons. I attended St Joseph Catholic School in Boyd. Stanley- Boyd High School and then UW-Madison where I graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I am seeking the seat on the Chippewa County Board because I feel like I can be a great voice for the rural eastern Chippewa communities of Boyd-Edson-Delmar.
What do you bring to the table in terms of background and experience, and how would you prioritize different county needs, made into a list? How would these needs and goals be achieved? I served 6 years as an EMT on the Boyd-Edson-Delmar Ambulance. This helped me to make great connections with people in our community while serving people in their times of need.
My goals as Supervisor would be to voice the concerns of my constituents. Along with pushing for continued improvement of Roads and Rural Broadband Access. Also promoting any new ideas for Rural Enrichment.
Should the matter arise in a given case, how would you address any real or perceived conflict of interest involving the county board? If a true conflict of interest should arise on any matter I would abstain from voting on said matter.
What else should people know? I would appreciate your Vote April 5th. And I look forward to serve the communities of Boyd-Edson-Delmar. Thank you!
