May 14 3:48 p.m.

Police called to the Homeplace for a suspicious vehicle parked half an hour with its lights on. Complainant was unsure if the vehicle was occupied but advised they didn’t want it parked there. Report to follow.

1:22 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a barking dog complaint. Incident documented.

1:50 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a burning complaint in the 300 block of Lincoln Street. It was determined there were no issues.

4:16 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a business alarm. It was determined to be a false alarm.

7:49 p.m.

Police were requested for a found wallet and cell phone.

May 15 12:00 a.m.

Police conducted a bar check at Reclaimed Tavern in Stanley.

12:40 a.m.

Police conducted a bar check at Double D’s in Boyd.

1:21 a.m.

Stanley Police observed a suspicious vehicle parking at the Boyd Elementary School Report to follow.

May 16 10:32 a.m. Police notified of ongoing harassment by an individual.

11:30 a.m.

Assistance was provided with a vehicle lockout as needed.

4:26 p.m.

Contact was made with a man and young child who had been observed walking on the railroad tracks. The adult was educated of the danger of walking on the tracks as well as informed that he could be cited for trespassing by the railroad.

7:25 p.m.

Vehicle lockout. Waiver form filled out and vehicle un locked without incident.

May 17 8:06 a.m. A male Australian Shepherd dog was located running at large in the 900 block of North Franklin Street. The owner was located and the dog was returned.

8:18 a.m.

A vehicle lockout was resolved.

2:10 p.m.

A person reported receiving harassing emails from the father of a client that she is the guardian of.

7:49 p.m.

911 misdial. Contact was made with the caller who stat- ed that everything was fine and there was no emergency.

7:52 p.m.

ATV complaint located in

Chapman Park. Contact was made with Jeurey Lyp, age 33, who was cited for no ATV registration.

9:09 p.m. Chippewa County Sheriu's Ovce assigned a complaint regarding an out of control young person at the Grant Street Apartments. Upon ar- rival ovcer spoke with the child who had calmed down and was lying on their bed. Mother had stated it was not physical and the child had been punching the walls. They were advised to keep separated for the remainder of the evening.

9:18 p.m. Ovcer assisted the Chip – pewa County Sheriu's Ovce with a check vehicle complaint regarding a vehicle that left the roadway. Ovcer stood by and assisted until no longer needed.

May 18 6:15 a.m.

Stanley police were requested for a student refusing to go to school. Incident documented.

1:54 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested by Lifeline Medical Alert for an EMS call. Ovcer responded and provided assistance as needed.

6:21 p.m.

Ovcer requested on North Franklin Street for a harassment complaint involving three young women.

May 19 9:11 a.m. Report of an active fire alarm at the Homeplace of Stanley. While responding, the ovcer was informed that proper authorization to cancel had been received from the alarm company.

10:55 a.m.

Report received of an erratic driver on eastbound Highway 29. The area was monitored for several minutes and a vehicle matching the given description was not located.

12:36 p.m.

Two people in the 600 block of East Supple Street reported a man walking a dog that was acting suspicious, stopping and staring at a home for an extended period of time. Report to follow.

2:10 p.m.

Police were requested to a business near the Wolf River for a drug related item that was found. Ovcer responded and the item was collected. Report to follow.

3:15 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a man in Boyd who appeared to be agitated and yelling loudly. Upon arrival the individual was resting in his recliner. He stated that his keys had been misplaced and he was upset. Prior to of- ficer arrival the keys had been found and everything was fine.

9:36 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a disabled vehicle at State Highway 29 and South Broadway Street. Stanley Police responded and assisted the stranded motorist with locating a tow.

10:19 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriu's Department with a travc stop. Assistance was given as requested. May 20 3:56 p.m.

A travc stop was conduct ed on a vehicle for a moving violation and the operator was warned.

4:20 p.m.

Stanley Police conducted a travc stop for operating after suspension, with the result that Beth Ann Koch, age 24, was cited for operating after suspension and verbally warned for not having proof of insurance.

4:23 p.m.

Travc stop was conducted on a vehicle for a moving violation and the operator was warned.

9:23 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a car vs. deer near the Boyd village limits. Vehicle involved sustained disabling damage and was removed from the scene by Corner Auto. No injuries reported by the driver. Crash report completed.

10:08 p.m.

Call to Clark County regarding a person with a language barrier requesting assistance. Contact was made and the person was identified with a Honduras identification card. They were later provided a ride to the America hotel.

May 21 12:27 a.m.

A call was made of suspicious individuals walking in the 100 block of Boyd Street. Upon arrival no one was located and nothing observed.

1:30 a.m.

Stanley Police assisted the Chippewa County Sheriu's Ovce on OWI investigation.

11:39 a.m. A travc stop was conduct ed on a vehicle for a moving violation and the operator, 32-year-old Benjamin Enke, was cited for speeding.

11:57 p.m. A travc stop was conduct ed on a vehicle regarding a speeding violation and the operator was warned.

1:28 p.m. Ovcer requested to do a welfare check on someone who had made self harm comments.

May 22 12:46 a.m.

Stanley Police conducted a travc stop for an equipment violation. Joshua Linn, age 21, was issued a citation for operating without insurance and verbally warned for an equipment violation. Report to follow.

12:45 a.m.

Report was received over someone with an active warrant being located. Upon arrival it was learned the person had just left and their current whereabouts were unknown.

7:07 p.m.

Noise complaint for children jumping on apartment floor in unit above callers. Re port to follow.

9:10 p.m. Travc stop made for ex cessive speed and operator verbally warned. Nothing further.

3:05 p.m.

A person requested a welfare check on her brother as she had not been able to reach him via telephone. It was determined that the contact number she had was not accurate.

May 23 4:12 p.m.

Stanley Police observed a motorcycle traveling faster than the posted speed limit. Operator Brian Koch, age 25, was cited for speeding and operating while revoked.

7:53 p.m.

Police were requested to assist EMS at the Grant Street Apartments.

8:55 p.m.

Police were requested for a travc complaint where a ve – hicle failed to yield for a fire truck backing into the fire sta – tion with its emergency lights on. Enda Kempf, age 27 of Stanley, was cited for the incident.

9:46 p.m.

Travc stop conducted for equipment violation. Driver was warned.

May 24 10:17 a.m.

Complaint received of threats being made by a young person. Incident under investigation.

11:12 a.m.

Stanley Police were advised of two vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed on State Highway 29 west bound for Clark County. Vehicles not located.

3:34 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested to respond to Express Mart for a gas payment issue. Upon arrival the owner was contacted and fuel was paid for.

3:45 p.m.

Stanley Police observed a vehicle traveling faster than the posted speed limit. Vehicle was stopped. The operator, Hailey Schneider, age 18, was cited. Report to follow.

5:28 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for an EMS call. I responded and spoke with the individual who had called 911 and he stated he no longer wanted EMS to respond.

May 24 9:37 p.m. Travc stop conducted for equipment violation Driver was warned.

10:00 p.m. Travc stop conducted for equipment violation and driver warned.

10:47 p.m.

Police requested for a traf- fic complaint on State High – way 29. A travc stop was conducted. Christopher Vukasovich, age 24, of Owen was arrested for OWI 3rd, OAR IID Restriction, Probation Hold and a warrant.

May 25 2:41 p.m.

Report received of an assault that occurred at the America Inn and Suites. It was determined that an assault had not actually occurred and that words had been exchanged between the owner and an employee. Report to follow.

3:36 p.m.

Paper service was conducted on a man while assisting with an eviction in the 500 block of Madison Street. A proof of civil process service was completed and faxed to the Chippewa County Clerk of Courts Ovce.

5:01 p.m.

Assistance was provided to the Chippewa County Sher- iu's Department as requested for eviction removal at the same address.

5:33 p.m.

A dog was turned over to police. Owner was identified and the dog was returned. Boarding fee collected.

6:54 p.m.

Complaint regarding disturbance at Amerivu Hotel between the owner and previ- ous stau member. It was deter mined to be a civil issue and not a law enforcement matter. Parties were advised to stay separated for the remainder of the evening.

May 26 10:30 a.m. Report received of multiple drug paraphernalia items that were located inside a residence. Report to follow.

1:03 p.m.

A woman reported losing her wallet a few days previous at a local business and later determined that someone had attempted to use her credit and debit cards. Report to follow.

1:33 p.m. An ovcer was requested to respond to a residence where a man had just recently been evicted and was now back. Upon arrival at the residence the man was gone and no law enforcement intervention was needed.

A call was reported of a vehicle traveling through the campground at a high rate of speed.
