Now through November, the Stanley Rodeo Committee is holding a City Parks raffle, with proceeds from ticket sales going to benefit the city parks. Tickets will be on sale around the City, with raffle ticket prizes to be awarded upon the results of a November 13 drawing. In case you’re wondering what’s available, we have the short list.
In the first place, a $1,000 cash prize will be awarded the first place raffle winner, while and 800 stand-up freezer from Hazuga’s will go to the second place winner. Not to stop there, a $600 Back Pack Blower from Lube Suppliers will be awarded to the third place raffle ticket winner, while a host of smaller prizes will be given away as well. Among these are five $100 prizes from LaGrander’s, ten $50 prizes from Oemig’s, three $150 prizes from Derks Beef; three $100 prizes from Stanley Tire; two prizes of $100 each and two for $50 each from Westaby Trucking; five $50 prizes from Martino’s; five $50 prizes from Stanley IGA; five $50 prizes from Fast Lane Detail; eight $25 prizes from Mel’s Fox Den; four $50 prizes from Timeless Gems; four $50 Broadway Home; four $50 prizes from Debbie’s on Broadway; two $50 prizes from Halterman’s; four $25 prizes from Modern Beauty; four $25 prizes from Twilite Zone; and two $50 prizes from Wundrow’s Auto Repair.
Once again, tickets are available for purchase at participating local businesses, with the drawing November 13.
