You are needed to help with the emergency blood shortage. Donate blood on Monday, March 4, 12 to 6 pm at the Stanley Community Center in Chapman Park. Please make an appointment today by calling Donella Christianson at 715-644-3638, the Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767, or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter Stanley Boyd. If you have any medical questions, please call the Red Cross at 1-866-236-3276.
Donors must be 16 years or older and be in general good health. Sixteen-year-olds can donate blood, but must bring a signed Red Cross parental consent form and present it at the time of registration.
Walk-ins are still welcome, but just remember that you may not be able to get in at the time you come, or may have to wait a long time. When you walk in, we can now check the online appointment schedule to see when there is an open time slot and enter your name. That way you will be assured of being able to donate that day.
Patients are depending on you so they can continue to enjoy life.
Upcoming drives in 2024 are Thursday, May 9, Thursday August 8, and October 10. The December drive date is still to be determined.
