The American Red Cross is facing a national blood crisis – its worst blood shortage in over a decade, posing a concerning risk to patient care. The Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive is Monday, March 7 at the Stanley Community Center in Chapman Park. If you haven’t scheduled your appointment, please call Donella Christianson at 715-644-3638 or schedule one online.
With less than a one-day supply of critical blood types in re- cent weeks, doctors have been forced to make difficult decisions about who receives blood transfusions and who will need to wait until more products become available. The Red Cross is working around the clock to meet the blood needs of hospitals and patients – but can’t do it alone. We need your help!
All Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drives will be held at the Stanley Community Center in Chapman Park, beginning with the March 7 drive. Other schedule drives are June 2, August 5, and October 14.
