September 4

1:10 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a welfare check. Conducted and everyone was fine. Report to follow.

2:20 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for a barking dog complaint in the 100 block of East Fourth Avenue. Area was checked and there were no barking dogs at that time. Area will continue to be checked.

3:13 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for a suspicious person walking on and near the railroads tracks in Boyd. Area of complaint was checked and no one was located.

5:39 p.m. Stanley Officer Trey and handler requested to assist the Lake Hallie Police Department.

10:14 p.m.

Police were requested for a noise complaint at the Grant Street apartments.

September 5

10:00 a.m.

Stanley Travel Stop reported a gas skip of $34, with the owner mailed a letter and given seven days to comply.

10:33 a.m. 911 hangup calls coming from the area of the Grant Street Apartments. Callback was unsuccessful and no records of the registered telephone owner. Area was checked and residents spoken with and no information regarding any issues present.

10:45 a.m. Traffic stop conducted for a moving violation, with the result that the driver was warned. 11:21 p.m.

Another traffic stop was conducted for a moving violation and the driver was warned. 11:51 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted for a moving violation, with the result that Kory Wendt, age 56, was cited for speeding 11-15 mph over.

September 6

12:30 p.m.

Traffic stop conducted for a moving violation. Yalexia Ladousier, age 22, was cited for Operate After Revoked (4th+)Operate After Suspension of Registration, Operate Without Insurance, and warned for speed.

1:03 p.m. A theft report was logged. 10:36 p.m. An animal complaint regarding domestic rabbits running at large was made.

12:07 p.m. Paper service was conducted without incident. 1:26 p.m.

A caller advised that very young children are playing outside without supervision. The children were determined to belong to a residence at the Grant Street apartments. The children were later observed through a window at the apartment. Contract was made with the apartment owner in an attempt to identify a parent or parents. 2:30 p.m.

Garbage can reported in the lane of traffic on Highway 29. Upon arrival nothing was located.

September 7

1:13 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted for a moving violation, with the result that the driver was warned. 8:51 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a Fire and EMS call on East Fourth Avenue in the City of Stanley. Officer responded and assisted as needed. 12:00 p.m.

Stanley Police conducted a traffic stop for vehicle speed in the 200 block of North Oshkosh Street, with the result that the driver was verbally warned.

12:54 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to responded to the Stanley High School for an out of control young person. Upon arrival it was advised the officer they could disregard and the young person left with their parent. 4:06 p.m.

Stanley Police observed a vehicle being operated with too many passengers inside. The vehicle was stopped and its operator, 19-year-old Austin Beyersdorf, was cited for a child restraint violation.

5:13 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for a possible disturbance at a residence in the City of Stanley. Report will be sent to the DA for review.

September 8

12:00 a.m.

Stanley Police issued ordinance violation to Brian King,

age 55, and Lynn White, age 44, for their property being in non-compliance. Property owner Karen Panzke, age 63, was issued a similar citation. Ongoing issue.

12:07 a.m. Police were requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with a call on State Highway 29 near County Highway G.

6:32 a.m. Stanley Police were requested for an accident on State Highway 29. Officer responded and provided assistance. Crash report completed.

6:28 p.m.

An EMS assist was given. 7:59 p.m. Police were requested to responded to Aspirus Hospital for a cat bite.

8:30 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for a verbal argument between parties at a residence in Boyd. An anonymous caller advised that a man was observed running from the residence and a truck had left at a high rate of speed. Officer made contact with involved parties who were advised to keep the noise to a minimum.

9:02 p.m. Police were requested inn the 600 block of Gilman Street for a theft complaint.

10:00 a.m. Benjamin Schutz, age 45, of Stanley was cited for Animal Running at Large.

September 9 3:29 p.m. Stanley Police received a check person complaint at the Stanley-Boyd Elementary School. Officer spoke with the involved parties and determined the call to be unfounded.

4:00 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a check person call at Aspirus Stanley Hospital. Officer responded and determined no law enforcement services were needed.

11:45 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted for a moving violation, with the result that the driver was warned.

September 10

12:17 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted for a moving violation, with the result that

Shane S. Stein, age 44, was arrested for OWI 2nd, Operate with PAC 2nd, and operating With a revoked driver’s license.

2:46 p.m. A vehicle lockout was performed upon filling out of waiver.

8:10 p.m. A miscellaneous complaint was logged on Junction Avenue.

11:51 p.m. Police learned of a person with an active warrant at the Chapman Park Campground. Aaron Frederick, age 36, was arrested for a DOC warrant.

September 11

3:46 p.m. Stanley Police assisted the Clark County Sheriff’s Office with a crash involving one vehicle and an unsecured load from a second vehicle. Information gathered and pictures taken. A Zip drive was provided to the Clark County deputy. The vehicle was moved by Courtesy Ford towing. 8:54 p.m. Stanley Police responded to assist Clark County in Thorp. Clark County advised a person involved in a domestic incident would be leaving and gave a vehicle description. Stanley Police located and stopped the vehicle in Thorp. Ashley Kaczmarick, age 35, was arrested by Clark County deputies on two outstanding warrants and other charges.

September 12

4:38 a.m.

Stanley Police responded to an assist request from Clark County.

1:23 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted.

4:37 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a phone call that had been received by the Chippewa County Jail. Officer was advised that they could hear yelling in the background. Officer was advised the owner of the phone number living in the city of Stanley. Officer responded to they address given and there was no one home. Contact was made with the caller’s wife and she stated everything was fine. 5:44 p.m.

Stanley Police were called for an out of control young person in the 200 block of North Franklin Street. Upon arrival the young person was calmed and sent with respite worker.

September 13

7:05 to 7:54 a.m.

Three separate traffic stops were made.

6:37 p.m. Police were requested for an alarm at Sunset Homes.

7:56 p.m. Police were requested for a disturbance.

8:02 p.m. Police were requested for a crisis intervention on County Line Road.

8:44 p.m. Police requested for a vehicle lockout.

September 14

6:51 a.m.

A call came in from the 200 block of North Franklin Street. 8:24 a.m.

A traffic stop was made for an equipment violation, with the result that the operator was warned. 12:32 p.m.

A theft complaint was made from an unlocked vehicle. Still gathering informations.
