May 23 10:04 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested to respond to Our Lady of Victory Hospital for a teenage girl who ingested approximately 80 ibuprofen. Mental health-related call.

May 24 2:16 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office to respond to the 700 block of North Franklin Street after the department had received six 911 hang-up calls. Contact was made at the residence and the mother advised her youngest child had woken up and was trying to play games on her phone. No emergency.

12:52 p.m.

Officer requested for debris on State Highway 29 east bound. Debris was located and removed by the county highway department.

7:15 p.m.

Police were requested for a personal welfare check on an older man, with few particulars.

10:59 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted for an equipment violation, the driver being warned. May 25 4:17 a.m. Police were requested for an EMS call. 5:05 a.m. Police were requested for a burglary in the 400 block of Grant Street. 3:12 p.m.

Vehicle stopped for moving violation. The operator, Daniel Demske, age 40, was cited for failure to provide proof of insurance.

11:20 p.m.

Stanley K9 Officer Trey and handler were requested to assist the Taylor County Sheriff ’s Office with a track for a man wanted for several domestic related charges.

May 26 1:06 p.m.

Open 911 call reported by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office CCSO delivered a TTY to Chippewa County regarding the call coming from the Stanley resident’s phone. Contact was made with the woman who stated that everything was fine and her child accidentally hit the emergency contact button.

9:03 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted for a moving violation, resulting in Sarah Fahey, age 30, being cited for speeding.

A traffic stop was conducted for a moving violation and Dana Edgar, age 55, was cited for speeding.

11:06 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted for a moving violation and Mark Olson, age 47, was cited for speeding.

May 27 12:33 p.m.

A complaint involving a young person was reported by Stanley- Boyd School District staff. Report to follow.

9:08 p.m.

Stanley Police assisted a motorist whose vehicle had broken down on South Broadway. The vehicle was towed to the owner’s business on County Highway H.

May 28 8:51 a.m.

Stanley Police were dispatched to a mental health call by the Chippewa County Communications Center.

Stanley Police responded to a residence to assist with a young person-related issue. Problem was resolved.

1:05 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested to respond to a residence near the intersection of North Franklin Street and East Fourth Avenue for an elderly woman reportedly depositing debris on her neighbor’s yard. Incident is under investigation.

May 29 9:09 a.m.

Stanley Police assisted with a missing stop sign at County O and County G. Traffic control was provided until sign was replaced.

4:11 p.m.

Stanley Police requested for an EMS call. Responded and assisted as need. 7:48 p.m.

Police requested for a miscellaneous complaint at the Stanley McDonalds.

8:02 p.m.

Police were requested for a vehicle broken down in the lane of traffic. 8:23 p.m. Police were requested for a 911 hang-up complaint. May 31 12:47 a.m. Stanley Police were requested for suspicious activity at the

8:01 a.m.

Gas drive-off complaint at non-specified location. Report to follow.

11:06 a.m.

EMS call for an elderly man with chest pain. Officer stood by until Stanley First Responders arrived. Nothing further.

12:42 p.m.

Stanley officer requested to assist Thorp Police with a domestic altercation no longer in progress. Officer provided assistance until no longer needed.

3:52 p.m.

Traffic complaint regarding an erratic vehicle traveling from the Boyd area east bound on Highway 29.

5:44 p.m.

Walk up report of a washout, damaged road on County Road H and 140th Avenue. CHSO requested assistance while a deputy was responding. Upon arrival I located the damaged section of road and stood by with emergency lights until CHSO Deputy Maurice responded to take over. The Chippewa County Highway Department was contacted.

9:25 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to the 300 block of East Fourth Avenue for a pre-teen boy having a meltdown. The caller was the boy’s mother. She advised that he attempted to hit here and broke a window at the residence. She advised he left running east bound on Fourth Avenue. Report to follow.

June 1 3:17 a.m.

Stanley Police were called to assist Clark County in transporting someone that they had dropped off at the Stanley Travel Stop. The man was transported to his home in Lake Hallie.

10:50 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to assist the Stanley Fire Department on Highway 29 west bound, west of mile marker 101. Caller advised a fuel tank strap had broke on his truck and the tank had ruptured, leaking approximately 70 gallons of fuel. WI DNR was contacted. The scene was made safe and the vehicle was removed.

June 2 7:08 a.m.

Stanley Police requested for a possible sexual assault that had occurred in 2007. Incident is under investigation.

10:47 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested to assist with an EMS call. Responded and assisted as needed. 12:59 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for a possible mental health crisis. The person spoke with mental assessment, and it was determined she would be fine to stay with family. Report to follow. 4:23 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for a possible fireworks complaint. Area was checked and nothing was located.
