July 29 marked the first Storytime this year at the reopened D. R. Moon Memorial Library, and many hands made light work.
With Peeta the rabbit (a Flemish Giant mix) coming out briefly, new employee Joy Van De Loo read Beatrix Potter’s classic “Peter Rabbit as kids listened.
Later on that morning, the kids attending were given a chance to make a craft in which a wash cloth was made to look like a bunny.
Joy Van De Loo did crafts with kids, together with Cathy Ryba, Mary Dirkes, Joy’s sister Sarah and one other helper. Peeta (see inset) also made an appearance.
The kids get coloring sheets during story and craft time July 29.
