An accident involving a teenage male over the weekend has resulted in hospital treatment.
Boyd-Edson-Delmar Fire and EMS Chief Ron Patten said that Boyd-Edson-Delmar and Stanley both responded to the call, which took place Saturday night behind the seasonal building at Soo Park.
“It happened behind the building at Soo Park,” Patten said. Circumstances of the accident were still being investigated, it not known if the teenager was hit or ran towards the train tracks.
A check with the Stanley Police Department yielded little additional information.
“The Sheriff’s Department handled that,” Stanley Police Chief Lance Weiland said. The juvenile was transported for hospital treatment with injuries understood as non-life threatening. “I don’t have anything more than that,” Weiland said.
The accident remains under investigation with the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department.
