Thank you for Winter Wonderland light donations

Another “Thank You” to those that donated items and/or to the Chapman Park decorating project.

The high school clubs worked last week and Saturday morning to build their Winter Wonderland gift for the community.

It was cold, but much progress was made. The light display will begin with an opening ceremony and prayer led by Pastor Ken near the Memory Tree on Sunday, December 4th from 4:15 – 5:00.

The high school band will play some carols. Hot cocoa will be served and the new Memory tree will be lit.

Anyone that would like to sponsor a wreath in memory of a loved one can donate $10 to the Memory Wreath Tree.

Students will make a personal name sign for each.

*We had bulbs last year that unfortunately blew off the tree with the winter winds, so we are going with wreaths attached to a wooden tree this year.

Thanks again to ALL who have donated throughout the year – we have a list to add again after all is done!

This is never ending as strands of lights get packed away and do not survive.

The new LED purchases survived nicely!
