Truck and Tractor Pull debuts Friday

Posted

Coming to Chapman Park Friday, June 7, the Stanley Truck and Tractor Pull is a day earlier than in previous years.
Started back in 2005 as a part of the Stanley Rodeo before securing its own weekend, the pull affiliated with the National Tractor Pullers Association will be able to see more competitors on the track since it won’t be competing with the Ellsworth Pull on Saturday.
“A big thank you to all the volunteers,” Jack Leja said of those who help set up the annual event, noting that many also help with the Rodeo as well.
With Truck and Tractor Pull kicking off this weekend and tickets $15 at the gate (with 10 and under free), here’s what attendees can expect for Truck and Tractor classes.
Starting out Friday at 7 p.m., the night will kick off with Super Stock 4 x4, to be followed by Modified 4 x4. From there it will move into 2.6 Diesel 4x4 , with Light Pro Stocks, Light Limited, and Light Super Stock. With plenty of vendors and refreshments on hand and local sponsors, the Stanley Truck and Tractor Pull should be a blast!
