Live in Boyd and want to learn about Patten Street?
Now’s your chance. Village of Boyd residents are invited to a public hearing March 10 at 6 p.m., at the Village Hall.
The hearing, held as the village continues to prepare for the Patten Street rebuild, will cover the proposed application for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Facility (PF) program funds and will have six parts, per the agenda. These are:
1) Identification of the total potential funding available
2) Eligible CDBG activities
3) Presentation of identified community development and housing needs
4) Presentation of active proposed CDBG application
5) Review of any potential residential and non-residential displacement, and
6) Resident input regarding community development and housing needs, the proposed CDBG project, and other CDBG activities.
Residents of Boyd, including those of low to moderate income who may be impacted by the project, are encouraged to attend.
The regular village board meeting will follow the public hearing, with residents welcome to stay and speak in public comment there as well.
