Sad to hear of the recent closing of Stanley’s A&W? There’s no need to worry – a new chapter is about to begin! Dee Wells, the franchise owner of six successful A&W locations including Cadott, Owen-Withee, and Merrill, is stepping in to breathe new life into the Stanley A&W.
Wells, known for her strong community ties and customer-focused service, has big plans for the restaurant with renovations that include painting, refurbishing booths, and upgrading equipment. With new equipment ordered and an expected delivery time of three to four weeks, Wells is optimistic that the Stanley A&W will be ready to welcome back customers with a frosty mug of root beer by late March or early April.
Once renovations are complete, the restaurant will operate seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and offer the same extensive menu, including daily specials, that has earned rave reviews at her other locations.
Wells is passionate about supporting and becoming an active part of the communities where her restaurants are located, and she’s particularly excited to join and contribute to the Stanley community.
“We do a lot for the community, so we’re really excited about getting into the schools and helping them out wherever they need,” she remarked.
In addition to the upgrades, Wells is currently hiring a full team of employees for the new location. Anyone interested in applying can contact her at deewells@frontier.com.
