Aaron Dickson-Stanley Alderman for Ward 4-7,9

Local resident Aaron Dickson has taken his seat on the Stanley City Council as Alderman for Wards 4-7, 9 after receiving eleven votes at the April 2nd spring election. Following in his father John Dickson’s footsteps who served as Ward 4 Alderman from 1981-1985 on the Stanley City Council, Dickson states that he is inspired by the American ideals. “I feel strongly that it is my civil duty to serve the public.”
Born and raised in Stanley and a 2017 graduate of Stanley-Boyd High School, Dickson’s roots run deep within the fabric of the city. He continued his education at Chippewa Valley Technical College where he earned his degree in 2019 to become a Motorcycle, Marine & Outdoor Power Products Technician. Currently Dickson is a material handler for the Farm & Fleet Distribution Center in Chippewa Falls where he has worked for 1 ½ years.
Dickson is a car enthusiast and owns a 1994 C4 Chevrolet Corvette, but his dream car would be C7 Chevrolet Corvette. Dickson is also an avid fisherman and shares that Otter Lake is one of his favorite spots to fish.
Still, he mentions that the best part of the Stanley Community is the people and is looking forward to “keeping Stanley a great place to live and work.”
“I enjoy conversing with people. Finding out what is most important to the community members,” he remarks.
