Event will contribute to Legion’s General Fund

The American Legion does a lot for the community. By supporting their upcoming brat sale at Hansen’s IGA, you can keep them going strong to continue giving back—along with getting good food, that is.

COVID-19 and the resulting shutdowns last year affected the ability of many organization— the Legion not exluded—from being able to do their fundraising activities. Many of these organizations (including but not limited to the American Legion) now need the support of the community even more this year to chart a strong course ahead—but I digress. What of the when?

For those looking to secure good food, Stanley American Legion Post 112 will be holding a brat and hot dog cookout outside of Hansen’s IGA on two Fridays, June 25th and July 2, from 10 am to 4 pm.

For just $5 in total, area residents can get a good meal, with proceeds going to the Legion’s general fund. Why not save the trouble of cooking and let the Legion do it for you?
