Column by Mark Walters chronicles adventure, set to be regular feature
Stopping by the offices of the Stanley Republican Monday en route to adventure in Ladysmith, outdoors columnist Mark Walters made his pitch to have the local Stanley newspaper carry his syndicated outsdoors column, and was duly accepted. Mark is an avid outdoorsman from Necedah, Wisconsin with over 30 years experience and shares his adventures with others through a ‘journal’ which is updated weekly.
Among the many things featured in his weekly column are “hunting, fishing, lots of canoeing and backpacking.” Writing for 60 newspapers on a weekly basis, Mark shares his adventures and those of his companions with other outdoorsmen and women. For this week’s installment, turn to page 11.
