The 21st Annual 9-Pin Tap Tournament will be held this year at the Stanley Bar and Bowl. This annual fundraising event is sponsored by the Stanley and Boyd American Legion Post, as well as the Stanley VFW Post to raise money to support the Stanley/Boyd School seniors in the form of Scholarships to 2021 graduates. The American Legion Posts will also be supporting American Legion baseball which will be brought back to our area after many years of not having a team.

This tournament is open to local area residents and you need not be in a league to enter this fun-filled time of bowling to support your local students. The 9-Pin tap will be Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon beginning March 19 and continuing the rest of that weekend. Teams or individuals may sign up by calling Tom at the Stanley Bar and Bowl, 715-644-3371.

During the tournament, raffles will be held offering prizes donated by many businesses within the Stanley and Boyd Area as well as other donors from the local area. We will also be raffling two bowling balls. Raffle tickets for these bowling balls can be purchased now at Stanley Bar and Bowl as well as Tolley’s Bowl and Bar in Boyd. There will also be raffles for other prizes during the tournament. So give Tom a call and sign up for a shift to bowl and have a great time while helping our Veteran Organizations raise funds to give back to our graduates in the form of scholarships and support American Legion Base Ball. A 300 hundred game will be awarded a special prize. Pick up a split and get a prize. Get a natural strike when a colored head pin is in place, and you win a prize.
