Do you need help from the aftermath of the December 15 tornado and related damages? If so, the Stanley Relief Fund is ready to help. Applications can be picked up at Forward Bank or accessed online at the Stanley Community Association website at www.stanleycommunity. us.

Applications are for those requesting financial assistance for tornado damage related expense, including Insurance deductible payment help, (mtg or vehicle), mortgage payment help, rental assistance help, the repair cost to a home as not covered by insurance, and income replacement due to loss of wages.

Applicants will be asked to provide information in- cluding first and last name, address, home and/or cell phone, email, a brief description of the damage that has affected them or their residence, whether they have applied for assistance from other resources, and proof of damages, including photos of damage, insurance estimates, and repair estimates from contractors. SCA President Kristi Weiland made the following statement: “Applications will be reviewed by a committee that has been put together from volunteers from the Stanley Community Association and funds will be distributed to those that are in need of financial help due to damages/losses/loss of income caused by the storm.”
