League player scores 725 Series in three games at Tolley’s Bowl and Bar
Becky Haas has just made history at Boyd Wisconsin. The longtime league bowler at Tolley’s Bowl and Bar
scored a three game series Sunday Oct. 30, making games of 239, 207, and 279 respectively. This makes her the first female bowl er in Boyd history to bowl over 700.
Starting out the first game Haas took a spare on Frame 1, bowling 9 pins on first bowl and cleaning house on the followup. Following the spare with a strike for frame two, Haas then bowled five strikes in a row to bring her score 199. Closing out the first game with 239 after a spare, a strike, and another spare, it was on to game two.
Starting out the second game with two strikes, Haas followed these with a spare in frame three, two more strikes in frame four and five, a total of seven pins in frame six, and three more strikes with two spares the frames seven, eight, nine, and 10, resulting in a game two final score of 207.
Staring out game three with a two game score of 446 before handicap, Haas bowled 11 strikes with a spare in frame nine, a near perfect game with 279, bringing the three game total to 725. The highest possible score for three games in bowling is 900.
