The Red Cross lost a lot of units of blood over the month of December and is now trying to get caught back up. You are needed, so please make your appointment to donate blood on March 6, 12:00 to 6:00 pm at the Stanley Community Center in Chapman Park.
There are a lot of empty slots available and we need to fill them all, and even have a few donors on call to fill in any cancellations. Appointments may be made online, by calling Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767, or by calling Donella Christianson at 715-644-3638.
Patients are depending on you, the healthy blood donor, to help keep an adequate supply so enough blood will be available for them to be able to keep on enjoying life. There are many patients who need you, such as those with a disease and receive blood on a regular basis, and victims of accidents, or any kind of emergency need. Your donation to each Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive can help, so please make an appointment and take the time to donate blood on March 6.
Appointments may also be made for the June 1 drive as well, as it is already on-line. If you have any questions and would like more information please contact Donella at the above number.
