Severe shortage means all types are needed

The Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive is Friday, August 6 at Trinity Vineyard Church. There is a severe blood shortage at this time so if you don’t have an appointment, please make one as soon as possible by going on line or calling Donella at 715-644-3638. At the time of this writing there are open slots from midafternoon to 5:45 pm. These time slots will begin to fill up fast, so make your

appointment today!

If you already have an appointment, please make every effort to keep it, but if you need to cancel or change it, please contact Donella Christianson. There usually are donors on a “to call” list in case there are cancellations.

Summer is a very critical time of year when blood is needed, especially due to accidents. People are now enjoying the freedom of being able to take those vacations and to enjoy the beautiful summer weather. Donors are encouraged to please take a little time out of your busy summer schedule and donate blood.

If you prefer to walk in, if there is an open slot at that time, you may be accepted, or could be asked to come back at a later time when there is an open time.

Donate blood on August 6. The need is constant, the grat- ification is instant.

Trinity Vineyard on Highway X between Stanley and Thorp will be hosting the upcoming August 6 blood drive.
