Blood Supply is Dangerously Low

Stanley has just survived a major disaster, a tornado! Thankfully there weren’t any serious injuries or deaths and there’s no immediate need for blood. The Red Cross, along with many local volunteers and ones from surrounding communities came out to help.

Here’s another way to help, donate blood at the Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, December 23, 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. at the Boyd Public School gym. Please help with the dangerously low blood supply right now and ensure there will be enough blood in supply to help in case of any other natural disaster.

To make an appointment, call Donella Christianson at 715-644-3638 or go on line. If you choose to walkin, and there is an opening at the time you walk in, you may be accepted, but if there isn’t one at that time, you can sign up online for a later appointment. On line appointments take precedence over handwritten ones. Don’t forget to do RapidPass the morning of the drive.

Take time and give the best Christmas gift ever, donate blood on December 23.
