Julene Bowe and Gerald Jacobson, both of Chippewa Falls, have been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Edward & Hannah M. Rutledge Charities Inc. The appointments fill the vacancies created by the retirement of Gerald Naiberg and David Hancock.
Julene Bowe, who also serves in the position of the Executive Manager, marks the first fe male to ever be appointed to serve on the board in over a 100-year history of the Rutledge Charities. She has a combined forty-three years of service with the Edward and Hannah M. Rutledge Home for the Aged and the Edward and Hannah M. Rutledge Charities, Inc.
Bowe, a lifelong resident of Chippewa Falls, has served on the state board of Wisconsin Representatives of Activity Professionals and is actively involved in advocacy and volunteering for the Alzheimer’s Association. Bowe will continue to serve as the Executive Manager as well as the Secretary-Treasurer.
Gerald Jacobson is president of Northwestern Bank and serves as a board member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. He is a Chippewa Falls native and graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Throughout his career, Jacobson has been involved in numerous local organizations, including the board of the Eau Claire Confluence Arts, Inc. He has also been a chair for many non-profits in the Chippewa Valley over the years.
Jake Leinenkugel of Chippewa Falls now serves as Presdent for the Board of Directors of the Edward and Hannah M. Rutledge Charities, Inc. Gerald Johjnson will serve as Vice President and Julene Bowe as Secretary-Treasurer.
