Apr. 15 5:34 p.m.
Boyd Police were dispatched to the 800 block of North Oshkosh Street. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with a woman about broken siding on her garage. No specific reason was given by the woman as to why the siding had been damaged, though possible suspects were named. Apr. 16 1:30 p.m.
Boyd Police were contacted about an animal bite case from unspecified address. Officer spoke with the dog owner on the phone and explained the local ordinances in regards to vicious animals, maintaining vaccinations, and registering his dog with the village. The man stated the bite had occurred on April 4, due to his son and the neighbor “messing” with the dog. He stated that he would come in during business hours the following week and provide vaccination paperwork for the animal, as well as renew registration with the village.
3:35 p.m.
Boyd Police were advised of a local ATV that was stolen, vandalized, and then recovered. The department was given several names of young people in the area who had been seen on the owner’s property. Investigation ongoing.
9:02 p.m.
A personal welfare check was carried out in the 200 block of North Oshkosh Street. Apr. 17 6:15 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted. 9:20 p.m. A second traffic stop was conducted.
