Buckets for Hunger, Incorporated, is asking for your help for the 9th Annual “Buckets for Hunger Food Pantry Challenge.” The event runs from November 15 thru December 13, 2022.
All we ask is a monetary donation. Then Buckets will match twenty-five cents (or more) for every dollar that you donate. Therefore, every $10 donation to Buckets for Hunger becomes $12.50 (at least) for the “Fruit of the Vine Food Pantry” For a $10 donation, you could help purchase about 75 pounds of food for the local food pantry (FOTV). The FOTV food pantry serves over 125 families each month from the Stanley, Thorp, Boyd, Owen, Withee and Gilman communities. All of the dollars you contribute (checks must be made out to Buckets for Hunger) are returned to your Food pantry through Buckets for Hunger, Incorporated. Please mail your donations to “Trinity Vineyard Church P.O. Box 46 Stanley, WI 54768 – in the memo put FOTV food pantry.”
This event provides a simple, painless and effective approach to a major issue concerning a basic human need which has increased due to the pandemic. Remember, every dollar contributed helps buy about 75 pounds of food for the needy because of the matching funds.
There is no paid staff at Buckets for Hunger or the FOTV food pantry so no money goes for compensation or benefits.
