The following charges were filed in Chippewa County Circuit Court:

Jona W. Hampson, 34, Thorp, was charged Sept. 2 with a felony count of possession of methamphetamine as a repeater and possession of a controlled substance near certain places. A review hearing is scheduled for Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. He was also charged with two felony counts of failure to report to county jail.

Charges of operating while intoxicated (5th or 6th offense) were filed Sept. 6 against Craig R. Hilger, Cornell. Hilger, 48, was also charged with operating with a prohibited alcohol content (5th or 6th), resisting an officer, deviating from lane and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Joshua H. Holder, 40, Cadott, was charged with possession of methamphetamine as a repeater, possession of drug paraphernalia as a repeater and felony bail jumping on Sept. 12. Additional charges filed the same date against Holder were two counts of manufacture/deliver amphetamine. His initial court appearance was Sept. 13. A signature bond was set at $10,000.

Anthony Mark Sossmann, 43, Withee, was charged Sept. 12 with burglary while armed with a dangerous weapon, taking and driving a vehicle without consent and possession of methamphetamine. A hearing will be held to review charges Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. Signature bond was set at $7,500.

Robert D. Corbett, 63, Cadott, was charged Sept. 12 with attempt battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer and resisting or obstructing an officer. He was released on a $1,000 signature bond, and a pretrial conference will be held Sept. 29.

Mitchell Joseph Matthaei, 28, Stanley, was charged Sept. 12 with misdemeanor theft and felony bail jumping. He was released on a $2,500 signature bond. A plea/ sentencing hearing is set for Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. That hearing will also cover charges filed July 25 of possession of methamphetamine and possession of THC and charges filed Aug. 15 for manufacture/deliver THC and manufacture/deliver amphetamine.

Ashlea Lynn Heflen, 38, Cornell, was charged Sept. 13 with possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC, possessing drug paraphernalia and felony bail jumping. A pretrial conference will be held Oct. 13.

Gary Edward Larose Jr., 45, Cadott, was charged with possession with intent/amphetamine/ methamphetamine, possession drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Charges were filed Sept. 19. A pretrial conference will be held Sept. 29. Signature bond was set at $2,500.

The following charges were filed in Clark County Circuit Court: Jason L. Krueger, 41, Withee was charged Sept. 2 with operating while intoxicated (fourth), possession of narcotic drugs and operating while revoked. An initial appearance was adjourned until Nov. 1.

Ashley V. Kaczmarcik, 35, Thorp, was charged Sept. 13 with possess with intent- THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. A pretrial conference will be held Oct. 6. Signature bond was set at $2,000.

Nairo Casares Maldonado, 34, Stanley, was charged Sept. 15 with operating without a valid license (second in three years). An initial hearing was set for Sept. 20, and Maldonado did not attend. An arrest warrant was issued by the court.

Kimberly R. Sockness, 18, Withee, was charged with theft in a business setting ($2,500-$5,000). A court summons was issued Sept. 20 with an initial hearing scheduled for Nov. 22.
